The American Heart Association BLS classes (Basic Life Support) include BLS Provider courses and BLS renewal courses, which prepares course participants to quickly recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies such as heart attack, cardiac arrest and choking in adults, children, and infants by performing high-quality chest compressions, deliberate ventilation, and timely use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
This interactive, hands-on course is for those who require a BLS certification and work in a healthcare setting or are preparing to enter the healthcare field. This class addresses both PRE hospital emergencies and in-hospital Code Blue situations. We host our 1 on 1 classes in Mesa Arizona but travel through all of Arizona and California!
The American Heart Association BLS Provider course is video-led with Practice While Watching components as well as ample time to practice prior to taking the skills test. Once hands-on skills are mastered a 25 question multiple-choice test will be taken. A score of 84% or better is required to receive an AHA course completion card.
Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic Instructors in all BLS classes, ensure each course participant has the skills and confidence to assist in an emergency, should the unfortunate need arise.
